Inspired to Pursue Energy Healing

Apr 22, 2020 | Uncategorized

Hello!  I hope this post finds you well, safe and sound during this “unusual” time.  I realize that some of you have been challenged with working the front lines, while others have set up office space for themselves – and their school-aged children – at home.

For me, this experience has been a gift of time to get my thoughts in order and set up new business.  I have been busy navigating through all the different facets of planning, from designing a website with an online shop, creating my art and jewelry, and setting up social media.  There’s a lot to do and I’m loving every bit of it!  The plan is to officially launch my online products before the end of April, followed by my services in a new location once our social distancing days are behind us.

As this is my first blog post, I thought I’d start off with a little history about me.   Who am I and what inspired me to pursue an energy healing center?

My love for metaphysical healing arts came from my family’s bicultural upbringing in Dallas and in France.  Imagine having a French “grandmère” who created her concoctions made of herbs to ward against illness.  Her home sprinkled with crystals and shells collected from her travels.  Personally-designed Native American-inspired needlepoints adorned her walls.  Handwritten notes on Jung’s philosophy filled her shelves.

My mother didn’t fall far from her maternal tree, as her nomadic pulse took her from Paris to Germany, Mexico and then Texas, where she met my father – a nomad on his own, having travelled the world with the Merchant Marines as a young man, in order to save money for art school.  My parents were both strong believers in following their passions and instilled this same belief in my sister and me.

It took me a long time to understand the importance of balancing Work and Life.  I have a tendency to dive into what’s in front of me with such passion that I risk losing my equilibrium.  I finally found that with daily meditation and maintaining a feeling of gratitude towards all of life’s experiences, the balance I needed gradually appeared to me.  This clarity was due to a lifting veil that had unknowingly clouded my vision for many, many years.  Balance is always available – you just have to learn how to recognize it.  And, as a wise man told me:

“If you have the attitude that life happens to you, you become the victim.  When life happens for you, you benefit from life’s lessons to grow and blossom.”

On that note, I hope you will “read” me again soon!  I’ll keep you posted on my progress 🙂

Sending you beautiful positive vibes for a brilliant day!
